s 25 Effect of non-registration
(1) A person who is not a registered practitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, practise the traditional and complementary medicine services.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1), commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a) in respect of a first offence, to a fine not exceeding thirty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both; and
(b) in respect of a subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
(3) The court may, in addition to subsection (2), order the Council to enter the details of such person in a register and such person may not apply to be registered until the expiry of a period of two years from the date of conviction.

Kesan tidak didaftarkan
(1) Seseorang yang bukan seorang pengamal berdaftar tidak boleh, secara langsung atau tidak langsung, mengamalkan perkhidmatan perubatan tradisional dan komplementari.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1), melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan—
(a) berkenaan dengan kesalahan pertama, didenda tidak melebihi tiga puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan bagi suatu tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau keduaduanya; dan
(b) berkenaan dengan kesalahan seterusnya, didenda tidak melebihi lima puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan bagi suatu tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun atau keduaduanya.
(3) Mahkamah boleh, sebagai tambahan kepada subseksyen (2), memerintahkan Majlis mencatatkan butir-butir orang itu dalam suatu daftar dan orang itu tidak boleh memohon untuk didaftarkan sehingga tamatnya tempoh dua tahun dari tarikh dia disabitkan.
