s 26 Registered practitioner’s practising certificate
(1) A registered practitioner shall not practise a recognized practice area unless he holds a valid and subsisting practising certificate.
(2) A registered practitioner shall make an application for a practising certificate to the Registrar in the prescribed form and pay the prescribed fee.
(3) A practising certificate shall be valid for not more than twelve months from the date of issuance and shall contain a unique alpha-numerical reference number.
(4) The Registrar shall maintain a register of registered practitioners who have been issued with practising certificates.
(5) All prescriptions, reports or referrals produced, made or issued by a registered practitioner to a patient or any third party as representative of the patient shall bear the signature of the registered practitioner and the registration number of his practising certificate.
(6) The application for the renewal of an annual practising certificate shall be made to the Registrar not less than thirty days before the date of expiry in the prescribed form together with payment of the prescribed fee.
(7) All practising certificates shall be displayed in such manner as may be prescribed at the registered practitioner’s place of practice.

Perakuan pengamalan pengamal berdaftar
(1) Pengamal berdaftar tidak boleh mengamal bidang amalan diiktiraf kecuali jika dia memegang perakuan pengamalan yang sah dan berkuat kuasa.
(2) Pengamal berdaftar hendaklah membuat permohonan perakuan pengamalan kepada Pendaftar dalam borang yang ditetapkan dan membayar fi yang ditetapkan.
(3) Perakuan pengamalan hendaklah sah untuk tidak melebihi dua belas bulan dari tarikh pengeluaran dan hendaklah mengandungi suatu nombor rujukan huruf-angka yang unik.
(4) Pendaftar hendaklah menyenggara suatu daftar pengamal berdaftar yang perakuan pengamalan telah dikeluarkan kepadanya.
(5) Segala preskripsi, laporan atau rujukan yang dihasilkan, dibuat atau dikeluarkan oleh pengamal berdaftar kepada seseorang pesakit atau mana-mana pihak ketiga sebagai wakil pesakit hendaklah mengandungi tandatangan pengamal berdaftar itu dan nombor pendaftaran perakuan pengamalannya.
(6) Permohonan pembaharuan perakuan pengamalan tahunan hendaklah dibuat kepada Pendaftar tidak kurang daripada tiga puluh hari sebelum tarikh luputnya dalam borang yang ditetapkan bersama dengan membayar fi yang ditetapkan.
(7) Semua perakuan pengamalan hendaklah dipamerkan mengikut apa-apa cara yang ditetapkan di tempat pengamal berdaftar mengamal.
