s 50 Power of investigation
(1) An authorized officer may investigate the commission of any offence under this Act.
(2) For the avoidance of doubt, it is declared that for the purpose of this Act, an authorized officer shall have all or any of the powers of a police officer of whatever rank in relation to police investigations in seizable cases as provided under the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593], and all powers shall be in addition to the powers provided for under this Act and not in derogation thereof.

Kuasa untuk menyiasat
(1) Seseorang pegawai diberi kuasa boleh menyiasat apa-apa kesalahan yang dilakukan di bawah Akta ini.
(2) Untuk mengelakkan keraguan, adalah diisytiharkan bahawa bagi maksud Akta ini, seseorang pegawai diberi kuasa hendaklah mempunyai semua atau mana-mana kuasa seorang pegawai polis apa-apa jua pangkat berhubung dengan penyiasatan polis dalam kes boleh tangkap seperti yang diperuntukkan di bawah Kanun Tatacara Jenayah [Akta 593], dan semua kuasa adalah sebagai tambahan kepada kuasa yang diperuntukkan di bawah Akta ini dan tidak mengurangkan kuasanya.
