s 31 Demand for use of resources
(1) If it appears to the Director of Operations or any person authorized by the Director of Operations that any resources is required in preserving national security in the security area, the Director of Operations or any person authorized by the Director of Operations may demand that such resources be utilized for such purpose.
(2) Compensation shall be paid to the person whose resources are demanded under this section.
(3) For the purposes of this section, βresourcesβ includes utilities and assets.

Permintaan bagi penggunaan sumber
(1) Jika Pengarah Operasi atau mana-mana orang yang diberi kuasa oleh Pengarah Operasi mendapati bahawa apa-apa sumber dikehendaki untuk memelihara keselamatan negara di dalam kawasan keselamatan, Pengarah Operasi atau mana-mana orang yang diberi kuasa oleh Pengarah Operasi boleh meminta supaya sumber itu digunakan bagi maksud itu.
(2) Pampasan hendaklah dibayar kepada orang yang sumbernya diminta di bawah seksyen ini.
(3) Bagi maksud seksyen ini, βsumberβ termasuklah utiliti dan aset.
