The Institute may, with the approval of the Minister and the Minister of Finance, establish or expand or promote the establishment or expansion of companies under the Companies Act 1965 [Act 125]—
(a) to perform any of its functions or exercise any of its powers; or
(b) to carry out and have the charge, conduct and management of any programme, scheme, project or activity which has been planned or undertaken by the Institute in the performance of its functions or exercise of its powers.

Kuasa untuk menubuhkan syarikat
Institut boleh, dengan kelulusan Menteri dan Menteri Kewangan, menubuhkan atau memajukan atau menggalakkan penubuhan atau pembesaran syarikat di bawah Akta Syarikat 1965 [Akta 125]—
(a) untuk melaksanakan mana-mana fungsi atau menjalankan apa-apa kuasa Institut; atau
(b) untuk menjalankan dan menjaga, mengelolakan dan menguruskan apa-apa program, skim, projek atau aktiviti yang telah dirancangkan atau diusahakan oleh Institut dalam melaksanakan fungsinya atau menjalankan kuasanya.
