(1) Subject to such conditions as may be specified in his instrument of appointment, a member of the Authority appointed under paragraph 5(1)(a) or (d) shall, unless he sooner resigns or vacates his office or his appointment is sooner revoked, hold office for a term not exceeding three years and is eligible for reappointment for a maximum period of one consecutive term.
(2) Where any member ceases to be a member of the Authority following the expiry of his reappointment under subsection (1) he Shall not be reappointed as the member of the Authority within three years from the expiry of his reappointment under subsection (1). Remuneration and allowances

(1) Tertakluk kepada apa-apa syarat yang dinyatakan dalam surat cara pelantikannya, seseorang anggota Pihak Berkuasa yang dilantik di bawah perenggan 5(1)(a) atau (d) hendaklah, melainkan jika dia terlebih dahulu meletakkan jawatannya atau mengosongkan jawatannya atau pelantikannya dibatalkan terlebih dahulu, memegang jawatan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun dan layak untuk dilantik semula bagi tempoh maksimum satu penggal berturut-turut.
(2) Jika mana-mana anggota terhenti menjadi anggota Pihak Berkuasa berikutan tamat pelantikan semulanya di bawah subseksyen (1) dia tidak boleh dilantik semula sebagai anggota Pihak Berkuasa dalam tempoh tiga tahun daripada tamat pelantikan semulanya itu di bawah subseksyen (1). Saraan dan elaun
