Padi Cultivators (Control of Rent and Security of Tenure) Act 1967 s 19
s 19 Applications to the Committee
(1) Every application by a tenant under this Act, and every application by a landlord for an order for the recovery of land comprised in a tenancy agreement, shall be in writing and shall be addressed to the Chairman.
(2) Any dispute between a landlord and a tenant arising out of a tenancy agreement between such landlord and tenant may be referred to the Committee by either the landlord or the tenant or by both and shall be in writing and addressed to the Chairman.
(3) Every application or reference under subsection (2) shall be accompanied by a copy of the tenancy agreement in respect of which the application or reference arises, and shall contain a brief summary of the grounds of application or reference of the matter in dispute.

Permohonan kepada Jawatankuasa
(1) Tiap-tiap permohonan oleh seorang penyewa di bawah Akta ini, dan tiap-tiap permohonan oleh seseorang tuan tanah bagi suatu perintah untuk mendapatkan kembali tanah yang terkandung dalam sesuatu perjanjian penyewaan, hendaklah secara bertulis dan hendaklah dialamatkan kepada Pengerusi.
(2) Apa-apa pertikaian antara tuan tanah dengan penyewa yang berbangkit daripada perjanjian penyewaan antara tuan tanah dengan penyewa itu boleh dirujukkan kepada Jawatankuasa sama ada oleh tuan tanah atau penyewa atau oleh kedua-duanya dan hendaklah secara bertulis dan dialamatkan kepada Pengerusi.
(3) Tiap-tiap permohonan atau rujukan di bawah subseksyen (2) hendaklah disertakan dengan suatu salinan perjanjian penyewaan yang berkenaan dengannya permohonan atau rujukan itu berbangkit, dan hendaklah mengandungi suatu ringkasan pendek mengenai alasan permohonan atau rujukan perkara yang dipertikaikan itu.
