(1) For the due administration of this Act, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong shall appoint a Director General of Labour, a Deputy Director General of Labour and such number of Assistant Commissioners for Labour as may be deemed necessary.
(2) The Minister may appoint such number of employment officers as he may consider necessary or expedient for the purposes of this Act.
(3) An employment officer appointed under subsection (2) shall be under the direction and control of the Director General.

Pegawai
(1) Bagi pentadbiran wajar Akta ini, Yang di-Pertuan Agong hendaklah melantik seorang Ketua Pengarah Tenaga Kerja, seorang Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Tenaga Kerja dan apa-apa bilangan Penolong Pesuruhjaya Tenaga Kerja sebagaimana yang disifatkan perlu.
(2) Menteri boleh melantik apa-apa bilangan pegawai pekerjaan sebagaimana yang dianggapnya perlu atau suai manfaat bagi maksud Akta ini.
(3) Seseorang pegawai pekerjaan yang dilantik di bawah subseksyen (2) hendaklah berada di bawah arahan dan kawalan Ketua Pengarah.
