s 86 Disposal of documents after more than three years
(1) The Director General may authorize any paper-based document belonging to the Organization to be copied onto an electronic medium by such means so as to ensure that the exact image of that document is capable of being viewed, reproduced and copied.
(2) Where a paper-based document has been copied in accordance with subsection (1), the Director General may authorize the disposal of the paper-based document after the expiry of a period of three years from the making of such electronic copy.
(3) A copy of the paper-based document kept on an electronic medium in accordance with subsection (1) shall be admissible as evidence of any fact stated therein in accordance with section 90A of the Evidence Act 1950 [Act 56].

Pelupusan dokumen selepas lebih daripada tiga tahun
(1) Ketua Pengarah boleh membenarkan apa-apa dokumen berasaskan kertas kepunyaan Pertubuhan untuk disalinkan dalam perantaraan elektronik dengan apa-apa cara bagi memastikan bahawa imej tepat dokumen itu dapat dilihat, dihasilkan semula dan disalinkan.
(2) Jika dokumen berasaskan kertas telah disalinkan mengikut subseksyen (1), Ketua Pengarah boleh membenarkan pelupusan dokumen berasaskan kertas itu selepas habisnya tempoh tiga tahun dari pembuatan salinan elektronik itu.
(3) Salinan dokumen berasaskan kertas yang disimpan dalam suatu perantaraan elektronik mengikut subseksyen (1) boleh diterima sebagai keterangan mengenai apa-apa fakta yang dinyatakan dalamnya mengikut seksyen 90A Akta Keterangan 1950 [Akta 56].
