s 49 Power to make regulations
(1) The Minister may make such regulations as may be necessary or expedient for the proper implementation of this Act.
(2) Regulations made under this Act may prescribe any act or omission in contravention of the regulations to be an offence and may prescribe penalties of a fine—
(a) in the case of a licensee who is an individual, not exceeding ten thousand ringgit and for a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction; and
(b) in the case of a licensee who is a body corporate, partnership or society, not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit and for a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.

Kuasa untuk membuat peraturan-peraturan
(1) Menteri boleh membuat peraturan-peraturan yang perlu atau suai manfaat bagi pelaksanaan yang wajar Akta ini.
(2) Peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini boleh menetapkan apa-apa tindakan atau peninggalan dalam pelanggaran peraturan-peraturan menjadi suatu kesalahan dan boleh menetapkan penalti denda—
(a) dalam hal pemegang lesen yang merupakan seorang individu, tidak melebihi sepuluh ribu ringgit dan bagi kesalahan yang berterusan, didenda selanjutnya tidak melebihi satu ribu ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari atau sebahagian daripada sehari selama kesalahan itu berterusan selepas sabitan; dan
(b) dalam hal pemegang lesen yang merupakan suatu pertubuhan perbadanan, perkongsian atau pertubuhan, tidak melebihi dua puluh ribu ringgit dan bagi kesalahan yang berterusan, didenda selanjutnya tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari atau sebahagian daripada sehari selama kesalahan itu berterusan selepas sabitan.
