Any person who displays or permits to be displayed in any premises—
(a) a certificate of registration;
(b) a practising certificate;
(c) a certificate of registration as a specialist;
(d) a certificate of registration as a post-basic dental therapist; or
(e) a certified copy of any of (a), (b), (c) or (d),
bearing his name or photograph at any time when his name is not in the Dental Register or the Dental Therapists Register or he does not hold a valid practising certificate, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six years or to both.

Mempamerkan perakuan secara palsu
Mana-mana orang yang mempamerkan atau membenarkan untuk dipamerkan dalam mana-mana premis—
(a) suatu perakuan pendaftaran;
(b) suatu perakuan pengamalan;
(c) suatu perakuan pendaftaran sebagai pakar;
(d) suatu perakuan pendaftaran sebagai juruterapi pergigian pascaasas; atau
(e) suatu salinan yang diperakui mana-mana (a), (b), (c) atau (d),
yang mengandungi nama atau gambarnya pada bila-bila masa apabila namanya tiada dalam Daftar Pergigian atau Daftar Juruterapi Pergigian atau dia tidak memegang perakuan pengamalan yang sah, melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi tiga ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan bagi tempoh tidak melebihi enam tahun atau kedua-duanya.
