Section 42
SEC. 42. Whenever any owner or chauffeur has been convicted of committing the offenses described in sections twenty-two, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, thirty-two, thirty-three, and forty-eight of this Act the license of such owner or chauffeur to operate motor vehicles may in the discretion of the Director of Public Works be revoked by him and he may refuse thereafter to issue to such person a license to operate a motor vehicle for a period not exceeding two years.
