SEC. 8. Section twenty-nine of the same Act, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Twenty-six hundred forty-nine, is further amended to read as follows: "SEC. 29. Compensation of City Fiscal and his assistants.&mdashThe City Fiscal and his assistants shall receive salaries herein set forth, which shall be paid from the funds of the City: "(a) City fiscal, at twelve thousand pesos per annum. "(b) First assistant city fiscal, at ten thousand eight hundred pesos per annum. "(c) Second assistant city fiscal, at ten thousand pesos per annum. "(d) Two third assistant city fiscals, at nine thousand six hundred pesos per annum each. "(e) Five fourth assistant city fiscals, at eight thousand four hundred pesos per annum each. "(f) Five fifth assistant city fiscals at seven thousand eight hundred pesos per annum each. "(g) Seven sixth assistant city fiscals, at six thousand pesos per annum each."
