SEC. 27. Authority of Officers to Administer Oath, Take Testimony. - The legal officers, investigators, regional veterans assistance representatives, and organic contact officers of the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office may administer such oaths as may be necessary in the conduct of investigations or in the performance of such other duties as the Administrator may expressly authorize pertaining to claims for the benefits granted under this Act: Provided, however, That other officials not mentioned herein may administer oath only when properly authorized by the Administrator and only for documents in support of claims for benefits granted under this Act.
