s 28A Purpose of this Part

28A. The purpose of this Part is to provide for the registration of personal mobility devices —(a) to enable the use of personal mobility devices on public paths to be regulated for reasons of safety and law enforcement; and (b) to provide a method of establishing the identity of each personal mobility device which is used on a public path and of the person who is responsible for it.[38/2018]
