In section 14 (appointment of Chief Electoral Officer for Northern Ireland)— (a) in subsection (2), for the words from “by the Governor” to the end of the subsection substitute “ in accordance with section 8 of the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 ” , and (b) in subsection (4), omit the words following paragraph (d).
