Offence of contravening an order

7

Any person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes a forced marriage protection order, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction— (a) to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale; (b) to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months; or (c) to both.
