PART 1 — Information in relation to detailed emergency planning zones

Basic facts about ionising radiation and its effects on persons and on the environment.

The various types of radiation emergency identified and their consequences for the general public and the environment.

Protective action envisaged to alert, protect and assist the general public in the event of a radiation emergency.

Appropriate information on protective action to be taken by the general public in the event of a radiation emergency.

The authority or authorities responsible for implementing the protective action referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 above.

The extent of the detailed emergency planning zone.

PART 2 — Information in relation to outline planning zones

Where the information set out at paragraphs 1 to 5 can be obtained.

The extent of the outline planning zone.

The factors which would cause the plan in respect of the outline planning zone to be triggered, and whether there are any areas of detailed planning within the outline planning zone as defined at paragraph 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 6.
