s 1 Title and commencement
(1) This Order may be cited as the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1988. (2) The following provisions shall come into operation on such day or days as the Head of the Department may by order appoint (a) Part II; (b) Article 32, in so far as it relates to the provision mentioned in sub‐paragraph ( d ); (c) Schedule 1; and (d) in Schedule 3, paragraph ( b ) of the repeal relating to Article 2(2) of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972. (3) The other provisions of this Order shall come into operation on the expiration of 2 months from the day on which it is made.
