s 118 Registration
(1) Every authority shall keep a register of— (a) persons who act as child minders on domestic premises within the authority's area; and (b) persons (other than the authority) who provide day care for children under the age of twelve on premises (other than domestic premises) within that area. (2) In this Part— “domestic premises” means any premises which are wholly or mainly used as a private dwelling; “premises” includes a vehicle. (3) Any register kept under this Article— (a) shall be open to inspection by members of the public at all reasonable times; and (b) may be kept by means of a computer.
