s 49 Interpretation
(1) In this Order— “care order” means (subject to Article 2(2))— an order under Article 50(1)(a); and an interim care order under Article 57; “supervision order” means— an order under Article 50(1)(b); and an interim supervision order under Article 57; “education supervision order” means an order under Article 55(1). (2) In this Part “authorised person” means— (a) the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and any of its officers; and (b) any person authorised by order of the Department to bring proceedings under Article 50 and any officer of a body which is so authorised.
