Any appointment of a person to be a guardian of a child— (a) which was made as mentioned in paragraph 27(1)(a)(i) or (iii); but (b) which, immediately before the commencement of Part XV, had not taken effect, shall take effect in accordance with that Part (as modified, where it applies, by paragraph 7(5)).
