Medicines Act 1968 s 74G

s 74G Voluntary removal from the register: Great Britain

(1) An application may be made to the registrar by the person carrying on a retail pharmacy business at or from any premises entered in Part 3 of the register under section 74A or 74J for the premises to be removed from the register. (2) The General Pharmaceutical Council may make rules in connection with applications under subsection (1). (3) Rules under subsection (2) may, in particular, include provision— (a) about the form and manner in which applications are to be made (and the rules may provide that applicants must apply using application forms that are in such form as the Council may determine from time to time); (b) about the information to be provided by the applicant; (c) about the circumstances in which applications may be refused; and (d) for written notice of the outcome of the application to be given to the applicant by the registrar.
