s 19 Short title and commencement.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Farriers (Registration) Act 1975. (2) This Act, except section 16, shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order appoint. (3) The provisions of section 16 of this Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order appoint and different days may be appointed under this section for the coming into force of those provisions in different areas. (4) The power of the Secretary of State to make orders under this section shall be exercisable by statutory instrument. (5) This Act shall not extend to Northern Ireland.
