s 34N Power to require information
(1) This section applies to any body or other person that may be visited by persons appointed pursuant to section 34M(1). (2) A body to which or person to whom this section applies shall give to the Registrar, within such period as the Registrar may reasonably require, any information that the Registrar may reasonably require for the purpose of the Registrar's or the General Council's functions under this Part. (3) The matters with respect to which the Registrar may require information under subsection (2) include— (a) the standards and requirements which must be met by persons pursuing postgraduate medical education and training; (b) the procedures for managing that education or training. (4) Where a body or person specified in subsection (1) fails to comply with a request under this section, the Registrar shall refer the matter to the General Council with a view to their forming a provisional opinion pursuant to section 34I(5).
