In section 7 (cases in which restraint orders and charging orders may be made)— (a) in subsection (2)(a) for the words from “an" to “committed" there shall be substituted the words “whether by the laying of an information or otherwise, a person is to be charged with"; and (b) in subsection (4), for the words “the proposed proceedings are not instituted" there shall be substituted the words “proceedings in respect of the offence are not instituted (whether by the laying of an information or otherwise)".
