(1) In section 64(3)(a) of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968 (meaning of “ relevant enactments ” in relation to power of Minister of Health or Secretary of State to provide financial assistance), for sub-paragraph (xix) inserted by paragraph 19 of Schedule 5 to the Child Care Act 1980 there shall be substituted— (xx) the Children Act 1989. (2) In section 65(3)(b) of that Act (meaning of “ relevant enactments ” in relation to power of local authority to provide financial and other assistance), for sub-paragraph (xx) inserted by paragraph 20 of Schedule 5 to the Child Care Act 1980 there shall be substituted— (xxi) the Children Act 1989.
