(1) In section 102(1) of the Local Government Act 1972 (appointment of committees) for the words “section 31 of the Child Care Act 1980" there shall be substituted “ section 53 of the Children Act 1989" ” . (2) In Schedule 12A to that Act (access to information: exempt information), in Part III (interpretation), in paragraph 1(1)(b) for the words “section 20 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969" there shall be substituted “ section 31 of the Children Act 1989" ” .
