The amendment by paragraph 27 of Schedule 12 of section 32 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969 (detention of absentees) shall not affect the operation of that section in relation to— (a) any child arrested; or (b) any summons or warrant issued, under that section before the coming into force of that paragraph.
