s 43 Continuance of registration or licence on death.
(1) This section shall have effect on the death of any person who— (a) is registered in respect of any premises in accordance with regulations made under Part II of this Act; or (b) holds a licence issued in accordance with regulations so made. (2) The registration or licence shall subsist for the benefit of the deceased’s personal representative, or widow or widower or surviving civil partner or any other member of the deceased’s family, until the end of— (a) the period of three months beginning with the deceased’s death ; or (b) such longer period as the enforcement authority may allow.
