s 307 Assistance for acquisition of property where objection made to blight notice in certain cases.

(1) The council of a county, county borough, district or London borough may advance money to any person for the purposes of enabling him to acquire a hereditament or agricultural unit in respect of which a counter-notice has been served under section 151 specifying the grounds mentioned in subsection (4)(d) of that section as, or as one of, the grounds of objection. (2) No advance may be made under subsection (1) in the case of a hereditament if its annual value exceeds such amount as may be prescribed for the purposes of section 149(3)(a). (3) An advance under subsection (1) may be made subject to such conditions as the council may think fit.
