s 51A Urban development corporations.
(1) The Secretary of State may direct— (a) that a structure plan shall not operate; or (b) that a local plan shall not be prepared or operate, in relation to the area of an urban development corporation. (2) The Secretary of State may direct that proposals for the alteration or replacement of a structure plan or a local plan shall not be prepared in relation to the area of an urban development corporation.
