(1) Paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (deductions from income support) is amended as follows. (2) In sub-paragraph (1)— (a) after first “income support" insert “ or a jobseeker’s allowance ” ; (b) omit “within the meaning of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992"; and (c) in paragraph (a), for “income support" substitute “ that benefit ” . (3) In sub-paragraph (2)(b) after “income support" insert “ or a jobseeker’s allowance ” .
