(1) In section 71 of that Act (obtaining of information from persons and authorities) subsection (1) (which is superseded by this Act) shall cease to have effect. (2) In subsection (2) of that section (power by notice to require a person to furnish information within such period as may be specified in the notice) after the words “service of the notice” there shall be inserted the words “ , or at such time, ” .
