s 80A Duty to report on air quality in England
As soon as reasonably practicable after the end of each financial year, beginning with the financial year in which this section comes into force, the Secretary of State must lay a statement before Parliament that sets out— (a) the Secretary of State’s assessment of the progress made in meeting air quality objectives, and air quality standards, in relation to England, and (b) the steps the Secretary of State has taken in that year in support of the meeting of those objectives and standards.
