s 7G Constitutional changes: no requirement for local authority consent and no power of veto
(1) To the extent that any provision of the constitution or rules of a registered social landlord is within subsection (2), it is to be treated as having no effect. (2) Provision is within this subsection if, but for this section, it would— (a) require the consent of a local authority, or of a local authority appointee, to a change to the constitution or rules of the registered social landlord, or (b) confer on a local authority, or a local authority appointee, power to veto a change within paragraph (a).
