Architects Act 1997 s 24A

s 24A Fees

(1) The Secretary of State may make regulations for, and relating to, the charging of fees by the Board in respect of services which it provides. (2) Regulations under this section may in particular make provision about— (a) the services, or types of services, in respect of which the Board may charge a fee; (b) the persons who are liable to pay a fee; (c) how fees charged by the Board are to be calculated; (d) how fees charged by the Board are to be paid. (3) In this section, a “service”— (a) includes any exercise by the Board of its power to prescribe qualifications for the purposes of section 4(1)(a); (b) does not include any service in respect of which a fee may be prescribed under any other provision of this Act. (4) Regulations under this section are to be made by statutory instrument. (5) A statutory instrument containing regulations under this section is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
