s 278 Citation, commencement and extent.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997. (2) Except as provided in Schedule 3 to the Planning (Consequential Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1997, this Act shall come into force at the end of the period of 3 months beginning with the day on which it is passed. (3) Subject to subsection (4), this Act extends to Scotland only. (4) Section 70 and Schedule 7 extend also to England and Wales.
