s 99 Interpretation of Chapter I.
(1) In this Chapter— “ the relevant provisions ” means— the provisions of Part VIII, or in the case of statutory undertakers, any statutory provision (however expressed) under which they have power, or may be authorised, to purchase land compulsorily for the purposes of their undertaking; and “ statutory undertakers ” includes electronic communications code operators and former PTOs . (2) In the case of a purchase notice served by such a person as is mentioned in subsection (2)(b) of section 88, references in this Chapter to the owner or lessee of the land include references to that person unless the context otherwise requires.
