Sch 1 para 3 Housing Act 1996 (c. 52)
(1) In section 161 (allocation only to qualifying persons), for subsection (2A) there is substituted— (2A) No person who is excluded from entitlement to housing benefit by section 115 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (c. 33) (exclusion from benefits) shall be included in any class prescribed under subsection (2). (2) This paragraph comes into force on the day on which this Act is passed.
