(1) An offence under section 29 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (racially or religiously aggravated assaults). (2) An offence falling within section 31(1)(a) or (b) of that Act (racially or religiously aggravated offences under section 4 or 4A of the Public Order Act 1986).
