(1) The Criminal Justice Act 1967 is amended as follows. (2) In section 9 (proof by written statement), in subsection (1), the words “, other than committal proceedings,” are omitted. (3) In section 36 (interpretation), in subsection (1), the definition of “committal proceedings” is omitted.
