(1) The Criminal Appeal Act 1968 is amended as follows. (2) In section 1 (right of appeal), in subsection (3), for “committed him” there is substituted “ sent him to the Crown Court ” . (3) In section 9 (appeal against sentence following conviction on indictment), in subsection (2), the words from “section 41” to “either way offence” are omitted.
