(1) Section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (restrictions on reports of proceedings in which young persons are concerned) is amended as follows. (3) In subsection (11)— (a) in the definition of “sexual offence”, for “has the same meaning as in the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000” there is substituted “ means an offence listed in Part 2 of Schedule 15 to the Criminal Justice Act 2003 ” , and (b) in the definition of “violent offence, for “has the same meaning as in the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000” there is substituted “ means an offence listed in Part 1 of Schedule 15 to the Criminal Justice Act 2003 ” .
