(1) The House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 shall be amended as follows. (2) In Part II of Schedule 1 (bodies of which all members are disqualified) omit the references to— (a) the Commission for Racial Equality, (b) the Disability Rights Commission, and (c) the Equal Opportunities Commission. (3) In Part III of Schedule 1 (disqualifying offices) omit the references to— (a) Additional Commissioner of the Commission for Racial Equality, and (b) Additional Commissioner of the Equal Opportunities Commission.
