s 208 Penalties for offences under this Part: transitional modification
(1) In relation to an offence committed before 2 May 2022 , the reference in section 204(6)(b) to a period of imprisonment of the general limit in a magistrates’ court is a reference to a period of imprisonment of 6 months. (2) In relation to an offence committed before the commencement of section 281(5) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (alteration of penalties for summary offences), the references in sections 204(2)(a) and 205(2)(b) to periods of imprisonment of 51 weeks are references to periods of imprisonment of 3 months.
