Rules must make provision governing the conduct of takeover bids which must address at least— (a) the lapsing of takeover bids, (b) the revision of takeover bids, (c) competing takeover bids, (d) the disclosure of the results of takeover bids, and (e) the irrevocability of takeover bids and the conditions permitted.
