(1) A disclosure with a view to the institution of, or otherwise for the purposes of, disciplinary proceedings relating to the performance by a public servant of their duties. (2) In sub-paragraph (1) “ public servant ” means— (a) an officer or employee of the Crown, (b) a member, officer or employee of the States of Guernsey, (c) a member, officer or employee of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, or (d) any person exercising public functions who is declared by regulations of the Commerce and Employment Department to be a public servant for the purposes of paragraph 17 of Schedule 6 to the Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008.
