s 1131 Imprisonment on summary conviction in England and Wales: transitory provision
(1) This section applies to any provision of the Companies Acts that provides that a person guilty of an offence is liable on summary conviction in England and Wales to imprisonment for a term not exceeding the general limit in a magistrates’ court . (2) In relation to an offence committed before 2 May 2022 , for “ the general limit in a magistrates’ court ” substitute “six months”.
