s 130 Notice of opening of overseas branch register
(1) A company that begins to keep an overseas branch register must give notice to the registrar within 14 days of doing so, stating the country or territory in which the register is kept. (2) If default is made in complying with subsection (1), an offence is committed by— (a) the company, and (b) every officer of the company who is in default. (3) A person guilty of an offence under subsection (2) is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale and, for continued contravention, a daily default fine not exceeding one-tenth of level 3 on the standard scale.
